Additional Services

We can assist you on delivery of your own boat. You may be planning your first long passage and want someone to hold your hand for the first few days, or just struggling to find experienced crew. We have recently helped the new owner of a Halberg Rassey 49 on safe delivery from Hamble to Largs, as well as the owner of a brand new Dehler 39 who wanted assurance on the first day (Hamble to Eastbourne) of his delivery to the home port of Ipswich.

We can also advise on safety equipment, and arrange for the hire or purchase of liferafts, EPIRBS and lifejackets etc.

Our prices are available on request.

A typical delivery schedule is listed below.

  • Initial contact from owner leads to research of vessel by Paragon Yachting and quotation offered, dependant on various considerations, e.g. length of voyage, if an autopilot is fitted etc.
  • Skipper and Crew (including at least two qualified yachtmasters) confirmed for passage.

  • Vessel arrives at destination. Thorough valet of vessel (all surfaces inside cleaned and polished, head linings cleaned, windows polished, deck and top-sides washed, stainless steel polished).
